Rain Cancels Final Round of Men's Golf's Penmen Spring Invitational

MANCHESTER, N.H. – The final round of the Southern New Hampshire University men's golf team's Penmen Spring Invitational, set for Saturday, April 20 at Beaver Meadow Golf Club in Concord, N.H., has been canceled due to expected rain throughout the day, bringing the event to an end following 18 holes.

Franklin Pierce University edged the Penmen, who totaled a 290, by one shot for first place, while senior Matt Paradis (Hooksett, N.H.) winds up in a five-way tie atop the individual leaderboard with a 2-under 70.

The Penmen will now be off until May 9-11 when they take part in the NCAA Atlantic/East Regional at Totteridge Golf Course in Greensburg, Pa.
