After a four-year, standout career in a Penmen uniform, Sarah Lavallee joined the Southern New Hampshire University softball coaching staff prior to the 2019 season.
Lavallee pitched in 78 games for the Penmen over her four career, finishing up with a 40-17 record and a 2.17 ERA. She also had a career .289 batting average, which included 39 home runs.
Among the accolades for Lavalley were three Northeast-10 First Team All-Conference selections, a Second Team All-Conference select, and a member of the All-Rookie Team. Lavallee also became just the second player in program history to earn two First Team All-Region selections from the NFCA after finishing the regular season in the top-10 of nearly every offensive category in the Northeast-10 Conference in her senior season.
A native of Candia, New Hampshire, Sarah attended Manchester Central High School.
