Andrade Perfect as Women's Tennis Secures 6-1 Victory Over Post

Freshman Isabella Andrade (Cochabama, Bolivia) did not lose a game in either of her two matches, as the Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team rolled to a 6-1 win at Post University on Sunday at Edgewood Bath & Tennis.

STANDOUT PERFORMERS
  • Andrade made quick work of Sabrina Martino, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 5 singles and combined with sophomore Elizabeth Dwyer (Cutchogue, N.Y.) to down Martino and Sadie Storm, 6-0, at No. 3 doubles. Dwyer only dropped one game on the afternoon, as she defeated Storm, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 6 singles.
  • Freshman Magdalena Hubickova (Prague, Czech Republic) continued to shine with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 1 singles against Andrea Sandoval. She also teamed with sophomore Alexxa Etienne (Bayamon, Puerto Rico) to beat Sandoval and Areej Fareh, 6-2, at No. 1 doubles. Etienne posted a 6-4, 6-2 victory at No. 3 singles over Macha Mourier.
  • Freshman Selin Seyfettinoglu (Wiesbaden, Germany) knocked off Fareh, 6-2, 6-4, at No. 2 singles and earned a 6-1 win against Mourier and Alexandra Dereban at No. 2 doubles with classmate Mina Houge (Oslo, Norway.
NOTES
  • Hubickova and Andrade remain undefeated at 6-0 in dual-match action, thus far.
