Zbierski, Person Help #7 Baseball Split with Stonehill Sophomore Joshua Zbierski (Stafford Springs, Conn.) crushed a three-run home run in game two and that was all the offense that was needed as senior Alex Person (Foxboro, Mass.) allowed just two runs in his start to help the seventh-ranked Southern New Hampshire University baseball team salvage a Sunday split with Stonehill College at the University of Hartford’s Fiondella Field. #7 Baseball Sweeps Away Saint Rose to Open NE10 Play Saturday Junior Ivon Clough (Dublin, N.H.) turned in a solid outing in game one and redshirt-junior Andrew Lalonde (Bedford, N.H.) picked up his first career victory in game two, as the seventh-ranked Southern New Hampshire University baseball team opened Northeast-10 play with a pair of wins against the College of Saint Rose on Saturday at Trinity College’s Murren Family Field/DiBenedetto Stadium. Ice Hockey Inks Alex Gabree on Team IMPACT Signing Day The Southern New Hampshire University ice hockey team signed Alex Gabree, a 10 year old Bedford, New Hampshire resident, on its Team IMPACT signing day. Gabree is a fifth grader who suffers from PKU, a protein synthesis disorder. His parents, Mike and Melanie, joined SNHU ice hockey head coach Ken Hutchins in discussing the partnership.
Women's Basketball Europe Trip: Day One The Southern New Hampshire University women's basketball team kicked off its 10-day Europe trip on Tuesday evening. The Penmen flew through the night from Boston to Zurich, before connecting to Barcelona. The team then enjoyed a local dinner before visiting landmarks in the downtown area.
