Adriana Timberlake (Braintree, Mass.) registered 26.0 points, 4.0 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game, while shooting 42.1 percent (16-38) from the field and 76 percent (19-25) from the line, during a 2-0 week for women's basketball in which she hit both game-winning shots in the final seconds. Timberlake dropped a career-high 30 points (10-21 FG, 1-7 3-FG, 9-13 FT), including the eventual game-winning layup with 2.1 seconds on the clock in regulation, while adding six assists, two rebounds and two steals in Wednesday's 72-71 victory against fifth-ranked Bentley University. She did it again Saturday in a 59-57 overtime win over Adelphi University, converting the winning basket with 4.2 ticks left in the extra session. She hit for 22 points (6-17 FG, 10-12 FT) to go with five rebounds, two assists and a pair of steals.
