MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Southern New Hampshire
University men's tennis team won its third straight match with a
7-2 win over Assumption College Saturday afternoon at the SNHU
courts. The Penmen improve to 4-2 overall and in the
Northeast-10 with the win, while the Greyhounds are 0-2 overall and
in the league.
The Penmen took five of six singles matches and two of the three
doubles tilts. David Spaggiari (Manizales,
Colombia), Luis Ramirez (San Cristobal, Venezuela)
and Colin Stone (Manchester, NH) each earned
singles and doubles victories on the day. Mike
Ricciardi (Londonderry, NH) and Jeff
Bunker (Salem, NH) had the other singles wins for Southern
New Hampshire, while John Niland (Cheshire, CT)
teamed with Stone for a win at third doubles.
SNHU returns to action on Monday when it travels to Saint Anselm
College for a 4:00 match.
