SPRINGFIELD, Mass.
– The Southern New Hampshire University men's
tennis team posted its first victory of the season Saturday,
rallying past American International College for a 5-4 win Saturday
afternoon. The Penmen are now 1-9 and 1-7 in the
Northeast-10, while the Yellow Jackets are 1-8 and 0-5 in the
league.
SNHU trailed 4-3, but
MingYang Chuo would pull out a 5-7, 7-5, 6-3 win
over Mike Little of AIC at No. 4 singles, while Cory Lefort
(Cumberland, R.I.) posted a 7-6 (7-2), 6-2 win at No. 6 singles.
Southern New Hampshire is back in action Wednesday when it
travels to Stonehill.
