Men's Tennis Earns First Victory in Season Opener

MANCHESTER, N.H.—Southern New Hampshire University tallied their first win of the season 5-4 against the visiting Le Moyne College Dolphins in Northeast-10 men's tennis action on Saturday afternoon. The match marked the season opener for both teams.

Mitchell Dobek (Westfield, Mass.) and Jared Wright (Norwell, Mass.) posted SNHU's lone doubles win at No. 2 with an 8-4 triumph.

Juan Arango-Campo (Armenia Quindio, Colombia) recorded his first victory at No. 1 singles, while Dobek, Alex Mukdaprakorn (Hartford, Conn.) and John Niland (Chesire, Conn.) won at No. 2, No. 3. and No. 5 singles, respectively.

Southern New Hampshire will take part in the ITA East Regional Tournament next week at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Center in Philadelphia, Pa. The tournament runs from September 16-19.
