MEN'S TENNIS OVERCOMES SLOW START, DOWNS ASSUMPTION IN SEASON OPENER
MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis team rallied from a 2-1 deficit after doubles play to post a 7-2 Northeast-10 men's tennis victory over Assumption College Wednesday afternoon. The match marked the season opener for both schools.
Evan Eaton (Winchester, Mass.) and Juan Arango-Campo (Armenia Quindio, Colombia) were the lone Penmen winners in doubles action, as they took an 8-1 decision at No. 2. Trailing 2-1, Southern New Hampshire swept singles play to secure the victory.
Southern New Hampshire is back in action this weekend when it travels to Philadelphia for the ITA East Regional.
