MANCHESTER, N.H. – Southern New Hampshire University blanked Post University 9-0 in men's tennis action Sunday afternoon at the SNHU courts. The Penmen upped their record to 4-0 on the season, while it marked the season opener for the Eagles.
SNHU opened by sweeping doubles play, then defeated the Eagles in all six singles matches. Evan Eaton (Winchester, Mass.) rallied for a win at No. 5 singles, dropping the first set to Jonathyn Young 6-2 before winning the second set 6-1 and prevailing 10-6 in the tiebreaker.
Southern New Hampshire closes out its fall season on Monday, October 7 when it hosts Franklin Pierce University for a 3:30 contest.
