BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – Sixth-ranked Concordia (N.Y.) College blanked Southern New Hampshire University 9-0 in non-conference men's tennis Saturday afternoon. The Clippers upped their record to 12-4 on the season, while the Penmen are now 3-9 overall.
In singles play, Xavier Aubron (Herouville, France) fell 7-6 (7-4), 7-5 to Jui Mao, the No. 20 player nationally in Division II, at No. 1 singles. Brad Malenich (Sharon, Mass.) took Tomasz Olfans to three sets at No. 6 before bowing 6-1, 4-6, 10-7. Olfans is the No. 5-ranked singles player in the East Region.
Southern New Hampshire returns to action Sunday when it faces Queens (N.Y.) College.
