MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis team blanked American International College 9-0 in Northeast-10 action Tuesday afternoon. The Penmen snapped a six-match slide with the victory and are now 4-10 and 4-4 in the NE-10, while the Yellow Jackets are 0-8 and 0-7 in the league.
In singles, Xavier Aubron (Herouville, France) battled and prevailed in three sets at No. 1 over James Worrall 6-3, 1-6, 11-9. In the other three singles and two doubles matches, the Penmen dropped just six sets, as the Yellow Jackets forfeited two singles and one doubles matchup due to a lack of players.
Southern New Hampshire hosts Bentley University Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 pm.
