MANCHESTER, N.H. – Assumption College was victorious in five of six singles matches as it posted a 6-3 Northeast-10 men's tennis victory over Southern New Hampshire University Friday at the SNHU Courts. The Greyhounds move to 9-8 overall and 6-3 in the NE-10, while the Penmen see their season come to a close 4-12 overall and 4-6 in the league.
In doubles action, Jeremy Reichentahl (Cheshire, Conn.) and Sebastian Ramirez were 8-4 winners at No. 1, while Xavier Aubron (Herouville, France) and Evan Eaton (Winchester, Mass.) posted an 8-1 win at No. 2 doubles. In singles action, Reichentahl earned SNHU's lone point, winning 6-4, 6-2 at No. 4.
Ramirez dropped a three-set decision at second singles, while Mark Dobek (Westfield, Mass.) fell in a third-set tiebreak.
