MANCHESTER, N.H. – No. 49 Chestnut Hill College recorded a 7-2 non-conference men's tennis victory over Southern New Hampshire University Friday evening at the SNHU courts. The Griffins upped their record to 9-6, while the Penmen are now 3-7 on the season.
The Penmen picked up both their points in singles action. Sebastian Ramirez was a 7-5, 6-1 winner at No. 3 singles, while Mark Dobek (Westfield, Mass.) prevailed 8-0 at No. 5 singles.
Southern New Hampshire returns to action Monday when it hosts Merrimack College in a rematch of last season's Northeast-10 Conference final. That match is slated for a 3:00 start.
