MANCHESTER, N.H. – Merrimack College registered an 8-1 Northeast-10 men's tennis victory over Southern New Hampshire University Monday afternoon at the SNHU courts. The Warriors, the No. 5 team in the ITA East Region ranking, improve to 6-5 and 5-0 in the NE-10, while the Penmen, the region's ninth-ranked team, are now 3-8 and 3-4 in the league.
Freshman Xavier Aubron (Herouville, France) grabbed SNHU's lone point of the afternoon, downing Steven Francis 6-4, 6-3 at No. 1 singles.
Southern New Hampshire returns to action Wednesday afternoon when it hosts Bentley University in a 3:00 Northeast-10 match at the SNHU courts.
