HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Penmen doubled their lead early in the 37th minute when freshman Sydney Carney (Northborough, Mass.) chipped a pass to her right for Peloquin, who dribbled into the box and beat Le Moyne goalkeeper Anastasija Cumika to make it 2-0.
  • Fruzzetti struck for the first time in the 60th minute when Crema sent a pass from the right side of the box into the middle, where Fruzzetti hammered it home inside the far post.
  • The two connected again late in the 76th minute, as Crema delivered a cross from right-to-left across the 8-yard box that Fruzzetti finished to stretch the lead to 4-0.
