STANDOUT PERFORMERS
- Assumption scored the only two goals of the first period. John McDonagh made it 1-0 with his second of the season for the Greyhounds off a pass from John Fine-Lease.

- Usalis buried a pass from fellow freshman George Thurston (Plymouth, Mass.) for the only SNHU goal at 10:08 of the second period.
- The visitors responded with a team-leading sixth goal by Michael Zampanti at 16:49 of the second.
- Assumption put the game away with a pair of empty net goals in the closing minute and a half.
NOTES
- The Usalis goal brought teddy bears onto the ice. Hosting the toy toss for the first time, fans were asked to donate the bears following the first SNHU goal of the night by throwing them onto the playing surface.
- SNHU's power-play, which has been very productive this season, went 0-for-7 on the night against Assumption. The Greyhounds were 0-for-4.
- Assumption outshot the Penmen in all three periods, and 40-26 for the game.
- The Penmen have dropped four consecutive games after starting the season 6-1. They have scored only five goals in the four games since posting a 4-3 win at Saint Anselm College on November 22.
WHAT'S NEXT
- The Penmen will have five weeks off until the next game against Becker College on January 11 at 7:50 p.m. at the Ice Den.
