Senior Kurt Gutting (Weymouth, Mass.) stopped 42 shots to record his first shutout of the season in SNHU's 5-0 win over Post University Tuesday night at The Ice Den.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
- Gutting stopped 42 shots, including 19 in the second period, for his 23rd career win and second career shutout.
- Sophomore Dominic DiMambro (Troy, Mich.) and freshman Joe Biddle (Andover, Mass.) scored first period goals.
- DiMambro sneaked the puck just inside the left post at 6:40 with assists to freshman Ryan Coady (Braintree, Mass.) and junior Zack Ciampa (Revere, Mass.).

Biddle's second of the season was a power-play blast at 7:32. Junior
Kyle Galloway (Sugar Hill, Ga.) had the assist on the play.
- Sophomore Travis Quigley (North Babylon, N.Y.) made it 3-0 at 5:48 of the second period, slipping the puck in off a pass from behind by sophomore Andy Somerville (Medford, Mass.)
- Freshman Tim Usalis (Danvers, Mass.) scored from long range at 13:34 of the third period.
- Freshman Andrew Ray (Cumberland, Maine) found the net for the first time in his SNHU career at 19:30, a short-handed goal off a feed from Gutting.
NOTES
- SNHU converted 1-of-2 power play opportunities, Post was 0-for-8.
- The Eagles outshot the Penmen for the game 42-28.
- Southern New Hampshire completed a season-sweep of Post to improve to 9-2-0 all-time in the series.
