Senior Phil Heisse (Overland Park, Kan.) scored his first goal of the year to tie the game with 4:36 remaining, and SNHU beat Saint Michael's College with 15 seconds to play on a goal by sophomore Matt Amante (West Hempstead, N.Y.) Friday night at The Ice Den. The Penmen improve to 6-0 in Northeast-10 play.

KEY MOMENTS
- The Purple Knights took advantage of its second power play opportunity of the first period to score the game's first goal. Case Kantgias found the net with a blast just inside the blue line.
- Another power-play opportunity for Saint Michael's led to a 2-0 lead for the visitors with 44 seconds left in the first stanza. Connor Redden connected in close off a pair of perfect passes from Thomas Flack and Brennan McFarland.
- SNHU converted in a 5-on-3 situation in the second period to cut the lead to 2-1. Ring's slap shot off a pass from Heisse was his second goal of the season.
- The Penmen failed to convert on another 5-on-3 early in the third, but tied the game on a power-play goal by Heisse with 4:36 remaining.
- In the closing seconds, Amante created a turnover in the neutral zone, fed Cox on left wing, who returned the pass for the game-winner.
