Public Health Guidelines for Visitors
As part of Southern New Hampshire University's phased return to campus and on-site work beginning July 1, 2021, the university will permit visitors to attend athletic events, as long as they follow health and safety guidelines from the University and relevant authorities.
Â
Visitors to SNHUÂ should be aware of the following health and safety guidelines.
Â
COVID-19 Health Screening for Visitors
Before you arrive please ask yourself the following health screening questions:
Do you have any symptoms of COVID-19? Symptoms of COVID-19 can include:
Fever (defined as a temperature of 100.4 or higher) or feeling feverish;
Respiratory symptoms such as a runny nose, nasal congestion, sore throat, cough, or shortness of breath;
General body symptoms such as muscle aches, chills, and severe fatigue;
Gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea; or
Changes in your sense of taste or smell.
Â
Are you isolating or quarantining because you may have been exposed to COVID-19, are awaiting results of a COVID-19 test, or have you tested positive within the past 14 days?
If you are unvaccinated, have you traveled internationally or on a cruise ship in the past 10 days?
Â
If you answer "yes" to any of these questions, do not come to the event.
You may wish to contact your primary care provider or local health authority for further instructions.
Please note that the above screening questions may be updated as public health guidance continues to change.
Â
Face Covering Protocol
SNHU-coordinated events (those that are hosted by an SNHU department, team, or student organization) are permitted but those with external attendees should be limited and remote events are encouraged when possible.
Â
For events with external attendees, all in attendance must wear a face covering at indoor and outdoor events; for events with only internal attendees, all attendees must wear a mask indoors.
For more information on face coverings and masks, please refer to the CDC face covering guidelines.
