FLUSHING, N.Y. - Freshman Jonathan Berling (Moss, Norway) won four matches Friday at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East Regional Championship to advance to the quarterfinals of the doubles bracket and into the round of 16 in singles. Senior Fernando Torres (Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico) and graduate student Thomas Guy (Fulda, Germany) also remain alive in the singles bracket at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
