FLUSHING, N.Y. - Freshman Jonathan Berling (Moss, Norway) a pair of matches Saturday at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) East Regional Championships to move on to the semifinal round of the singles bracket and also vaulted into the semis of the doubles bracket with partner, senior Fernando Torres (Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico). Berling, seeded 10th in the singles bracket, will meet eighth-seeded Zicheng Zeng (University of the District of Columbia) for a spot in the finals Sunday.
