ROME, Ga. – Sophomore Jonathan Berling (Moss, Norway) of the Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis team lost in the quarterfinals of the singles bracket at the ITA Cup, while he and graduate student Fernando Torres (Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico) also fell in the doubles bracket at the Rome Tennis Center on Friday.
Berling lost to Harding University's Teodor Zlatar, 6-2, 7-6 (7-5), while he and Torres were defeated by third-seeded Lucas Hammond and Marcel Hornung of the University of West Alabama, 6-4, 7-5.
