The Southern New Hampshire University women's tennis team lost 4-1 to Palm Beach Atlantic in a weather-shortened on Thursday in Orlando, Fla.
STANDOUT PERFORMERS
- Graduate student Natalie Kallmunzerova (Prague, Czech Republic) earned a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 1 singles. She also won her doubles match with Junior Magdalena Hubickova (Prague, Czech Republic) by a score of 7-6.
- Hubickova lost her singles match in a tiebreaker; 6-4, 3-6 (10-7).
- Senior Alexxa Etienne (Bayamon, Puerto Rico; 7-6, 3-6) and junior Isabella Andrade (Cochabamba, Bolivia; 4-6, 3-5) did not complete their singles matches.
- Sophomore Guntra Upeniece (Riga, Latvia; 1-6, 1-6) and senior Elizabeth Dwyer (Cutchogue, N.Y.; 0-6, 1-6) lost their respective singles matches.
- Etienne and Andrade lost their doubles match 6-1, while Dwyer and Upeniece lost their match 6-0.
NOTES
- Kallmunzerova is 18-0 in singles play to begin the season.
