Pleasantville, N.Y. – Sophomore Shelby Cole (Gilford, N.H.) netted five goals, but the Southern New Hampshire University women's lacrosse team lost, 19-9, to NE10 foe No. 14 Pace University on Saturday afternoon at Pace Stadium. 
 
STANDOUT PERFORMERS 
  • Cole – 5 goals on 5 SOG, matches career high with five goals.
  • Senior Angelina Graziano (Riverhead, N.Y.) tallied two goals, assist.
  • Senior Kathleen Crowther (Wrentham, Mass.) handed out three assists.
  • Senior Caela McCarthy (Arvada, Colo.) stopped 19 shots on the day and moves to 3-2 on the season.
KEY MOMENTS 
  • In a back-and-forth first quarter, it was Pace that held a slim 5-4 advantage. Graziano had two straight goals in the quarter.
  • The Penmen tied game 5-5 on a goal by junior Skyler Renaud (E. Waterboro, Maine). However, it was the Setters that established a 12-7 lead scoring seven of 10 goals in the frame.
