Syracuse, N.Y. – #11/third-seeded LeMoyne College opened up an early 8-1 lead and despite a pair of rallies the sixth-seeded Southern New Hampshire University women's lacrosse dropped its NE10 Championship quarterfinal match 20-10 on Wednesday at Ted Grant Field. The Penmen, who won just two games last season, finished with a 9-7 record and their first trip to the NE10 playoffs since the 2016 season under first-year head coach
Carissa Medeiros.

KEY MOMENTS
- The Dolphins sprinted out to a 3-0 lead and stretch the lead to 8-1 after one. The critical stretch included three goals in the final 96 seconds of the quarter including goals by Sarah Hutchings at :21 and :01
- The Penmen regrouped and responded in the big way scoring four unanswered goals to cut the lead to 8-5. The run included a pair of Cole goals and tallies by Cronin and Gorton.
- LeMoyne closed out the half scoring the final five goals including a pair of Jessica Meneilly goals in the final 80 seconds of the half.
- SNHU opened the three quarter with a 3-0 run as Graziano, Cole and Renaud tallied in the first five minutes to make it 13-8.
- LeMoyne secured the win by scoring seven straight goals to stretch it to 20-8 with 7:25 left in the fourth quarter.
- Cronin and Renaud wrapped up scoring with late goals to close the game at 20-10.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- LeMoyne had a 39-19 advantage on shots. The Dolphins held a 23-15 edge in ground balls. LeMoyne held a 21-10 lead in draw controls including an 8-1 margin in the first.

- Renaud scored a goal in each of SNHU's 16 games this season. She also had 11 multi-goal games.
- This was the first-ever postseason meeting between SNHU and Le Moyne.
- Le Moyne is 11-0 all-time against the Penmen.
