Annemartine Christis ('s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands) scored two goals and SNHU Field Hockey rolled past Southern Connecticut 5-0 on a rainy "Senior Day" Saturday in Manchester.

KEY MOMENTS
- It took just 40 seconds for Bates to find the net to put the Penmen up 1-0. Wiersma sent a pass back to Bates, who hit on a reverse shot.
- Christis intercepted a pass in the Owl zone and drilled a reverse into the top of the cage for a 2-0 lead at 9:42.
- Southern Connecticut kept the Penmen off the board until 51:19 when SNHU scored two goals within 17 seconds.
- Wiersma scored off a penalty corner insert from Christis to make it 3-0.
- Christis then followed up a shot by junior Carley Lovejoy (Kennebunk, Maine) to make it 4-0.
- van de Poll added a goal late for the Penmen.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The Penmen outshot the Owls 26-6 including 15-4 on goal.
- SNHU had an 8-4 advantage on penalty corners.

- van de Poll leads the Penmen with 25 points on 12 goals and 1 assist.
- Christis has 23 career assists, the most in program history. She has also scored six goals in the last three games.
- Peeters earns her fifth career shutout (in 27 starts).
- The Penmen have beaten Southern Connecticut seven straight times to improve to 7-2 in the all-time series.
- At 7-4 in NE10 play, the Penmen are in fifth place, just a game behind Pace and Bentley for third. The top four teams will earn home games in the NE10 quarterfinals.
- Four Penmen were recognized on "Senior Day" at Larkin. Graduate student Audrey Canfield (North Hampton, N.H.), senior Hannah Dobecki (Scarborough, Maine), senior Emma Thibodeau (Danvers, Mass.) and Christis all are completing their studies.
