KEY MOMENTS – GAME 1
  • After Goldey-Beacom scored single runs in the first and third, Southern New Hampshire jumped in front with a three-run fourth. Schwartz and Caraher led off the frame with back-to-back solo shots that tied it, before Rivera lifted a sacrifice fly to left that put the Penmen on top, 3-2.
  • GBC answered back with a three-run fifth that leapfrogged it back in front, 5-3. The Lightning added another run in the sixth to double up the Penmen 6-3.
  • A two-out RBI single from Rivera made it a two-run game, but SNHU went 1-2-3 in the ninth to end it.

  • The Penmen scored three times in the third, highlighted by a two-out, two-run single from Schwartz that scored a pair of unearned runs and made it 4-0.
