KEY MOMENTS
  • With the match deadlocked in a scoreless tie early in the 89th minute, Southern New Hampshire was moving the ball forward in its offensive zone when a Lynn defender was able to take it away. Her back-pass, however, rolled slowly toward a teammate, while Noon broke and hustled to the ball, intercepting it and booting it past the Fighting Knights goalkeeper and into the back of the net with just 1:49 on the clock.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
  • Lynn goalkeeper Brooke Auth stopped five of the six shots she faced.
  • Lynn outshot SNHU, 10-9, while the Penmen returned the favor in shots on target (6-5).
  • The Penmen also dominated in corner kicks, 7-1.
NOTES
  • Southern New Hampshire, ranked 22nd in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division II Top 25 Poll, begins the season 3-0-0 for the third straight campaign and just the fourth time since 1997.

  • SNHU now leads the all-time series with Lynn, 2-0. This was the first meeting since August 25, 2005, when the Penmen recorded a 3-2 road win.
  • Noon's goal is her first of the season and second of her career.
  • Keith has now stopped 14 of the 15 shots she's faced in three matches this season. Her 0.33 goals-against average and .933 save percentage rank second in the NE10.
  • The Penmen are now 47-19-13 (.677) over their last 79 matches dating back to the start of the 2017 campaign.
