- The goal for Lynch was his fifth of the season, and first since November 21 against Westfield State.
- James Tepper recorded a hat trick for the Mules, scoring his final goal at 16:19 of the third period.Â
- Nick Stapleton had a pair of third-period goals for Colby.
- The winning goalie was Andy Beran, who made 27 saves playing most of the game.
- Freshman Sean Guerin (Chicago, Ill.) started in goal for the Penmen and gave way to junior Cam Bernard (Bedford, N.H.) in the third period.
- Colby had a 39-29 shot advantage for the contest.
- Both teams went 1-for-5 on the power play.

- The contest marked just the second meeting between SNHU and Colby. The Mules defeated the Penmen 2-1 on November 26, 2019, in Waterville, Maine.Â
