HOW IT HAPPENED
- Southern New Hampshire dominated the first quarter, building an 11-0 lead over the opening nine-plus minutes, before tacking one on with 35 seconds on the clock to exit the stanza with a 12-0 advantage. Renaud and Cole each scored three goals in the quarter, with Graziano and Hadden adding two.
- St. Thomas Aquinas scored the first goal of the second quarter, but two goals from Hadden and a pair of Graziano helpers powered a 4-0 stretch that sent SNHU to the halftime break with a 16-1 cushion.
- Graziano scored one of two goals in the third quarter and tallied two of three fourth-quarter strikes, as the Penmen put it away.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Mirra stopped six of the seven shots she faced in the second half, while senior goalkeeper Megan Petko (Monroe, N.Y.) turned away two of three in the opening stanza.
