Collin Berke (Crofton, Md.) made 30 saves to lead the Southern New Hampshire University men's ice hockey team to a 5-1 victory over Saint Michael's in the NE10 Championship semifinals on Saturday at Cairns Arena.

KEY MOMENTS
- Southern New Hampshire went up, 1-0, on the power play with 6:33 left in the opening period when Marchant scored off assists from freshman Nic Dallaire (Waltham, Mass.) and sophomore Alex Muthersbaugh (Gilford, N.H.).
- SNHU doubled its lead 6:51 into the second period on an Amante tally that was set up by Lynch.
- The Penmen stretched their lead to 3-0 just under 10 minutes later, with Amante and Lynch setting up Watson.
- Saint Michael's finally made it on the board with 6:07 to play in the third on a power-play tally, but the Penmen added empty netters by Devlin with 3:06 remaining and another by Watson to seal it with 1:42 to go.

- The Penmen outshot the Purple Knights, 35-31, for the contest.
- SNHU went 1-for-1 on the power-play while SMC was 1-for-2.
NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire has captured nine of its last 12, including six of eight and three of four.
- SNHU is now 16-17 (.485) all-time in the NE10 Championship in its 20th appearance.
- The Penmen punch their ticket to the NE10 Championship title game for the seventh time and first since 2019. This will be the first time they face Assumption in the final.
- Saint Michael's, which took three of four regular-season meetings, leads the all-time series, 53-29-7. The teams have split the last six meetings at SMC.
- Lynch and Watson both have amassed 25 points this season to lead the Penmen. Lynch has a team-high 17 assists.
- Berke has won seven consecutive starts for the Penmen, improving to 9-4-0 in his first year with the program.
