Rain Washes Out Men's Tennis Match Against Queens (N.Y.) on Wednesday

Match was nearing the end of doubles

HOOKSETT, N.H. –- The Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis team's match against Queens (N.Y.) College at the Ouellette Stadium Tennis Courts has been canceled due to rain.

The teams were nearing the end of doubles play when the skies opened up. Queens had a 5-4 edge at No. 1 doubles, while No. 2 doubles was even, 5-5, and No. 3 doubles was heading to the tiebreaker.

Graduate student Aron Ouwejan (Wervershoof, Netherlands), senior Jesse Den Hartog (Amsterdam, The Netherlands) and junior Jonathan Berling (Moss, Norway), as well as senior Maddie Blazejowski (Wethersfield, Conn.) from the women's tennis team, were honored in a rainy Senior Day ceremony.

The Penmen wrap up the regular season Saturday, April 27 (1 p.m.) when they play host to Assumption University.
