th-ranked Pace in the season opener on Saturday on Larkin Field. The game also served as the NE10 opener for both teams.

KEY MOMENTS
- Christis scored the first goal of the season at 12:32 of the first quarter when she took a pass from junior Anne Wiersma (Veldhoven, Netherlands) and buried a blast into the middle of the Pace cage.
- The second-quarter score came off a penalty corner. Hendriks delivered the pass to Christis, who made it 2-0.
- Anne Kopic would score for Pace just before halftime as SNHU went to the break in the lead 2-1.
- The Penmen took a 3-1 lead when van de Poll finished off a break with her first goal of the season. Senior Eliza Bates (Newport, N.H.) had the assist.
- Pace would score on a penalty stroke by Isabella Boertjes in the closing minutes.
