Southern New Hampshire University Men's Ice Hockey scored three goals in the first period and carried that to a 3-2 win at Post University in Northeast-10 action on Saturday in Shelton, Conn.

KEY MOMENTS
- All five goals were scored in the first period and SNHU never trailed.
- Phillips made it 1-0 at 3:02 of the first period scoring off passes from his line mates, junior Kurt Watson (London, Ont.) and sophomore Coleman Nee (Arlington, Mass.)
- Slingerland's power-play goal came off an interception of a pass in the Eagle zone, burying a slap shot.
- Baxter Kimball scored the first of his two goals in a man-up situation at 11:30 to cut the Penmen lead to 2-1
- SNHU's final goal at 15:50 of the first period was scored by McLachlan after a take-away near the Post goal.
- Post cut the lead to 3-2 at 17:05 on a power-play goal by Kimball.
