Senior Georgia Greene (Clifton Park, N.Y.), sophomore Emma Noheimer (Mansfield, Conn.), and senior Carly Schofield (Plymouth, Mass.) each scored to lift the Southern New Hampshire University women's soccer team to a 3-2 win over Bentley University in Northeast 10 Conference action Tuesday night at Mark A. Ouellette Stadium.
KEY MOMENT
- After Bentley tied the match on a penalty kick just 64 seconds into the second half, Carly Schofield answered immediately, putting the Penmen back in front 2-1 with her first goal of the season only 11 seconds later. Emma Noheimer then added the eventual game-winner in the 54th minute to make it 3-1.
NOTES
- Georgia Greene opened the scoring in the 41st minute with her second goal of the season, a blast that slipped just under the crossbar.
- Carly Schofield's goal off a Falcon defender in the 48th minute was her first of the season and the second of her Penmen career.
- Emma Noheimer's strike in the 54th minute marked her first goal with the Penmen. She scored one goal last season as a rookie with Southern Connecticut State University.
- Senior goalkeeper Claudia Keith (Danvers, Mass.) made nine saves, including six in the second half, to secure her fourth win of the season.
- Bentley outshot SNHU, 19-12, including an 11-7 edge in shots on goal.
- The Falcons were awarded a penalty kick in the 48th minute, which Sydney DeRoche converted to make it 1-1 before SNHU responded seconds later.
- The Penmen improve to 3-1-2 at home this season and 2-0-2 in NE10 home contests.
- SNHU is now 67-32-26 (.640) over its last 125 matches dating back to the start of the 2017 campaign and 44-8-14 (.773) at home over that span.
- The all-time series stands 20-7-4 in favor of the Penmen, who are 5-0-1 against the Falcons since 2021. SNHU has won 13 consecutive home matches against Bentley.

- The Penmen return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 29, when they travel to Daemen University for a non-conference matchup.
