Female Athlete of the Week: Sydnie DeVries - Women's Basketball - Gr., F
Sydnie DeVries (Monson, Mass.) netted 10 points (4-4 FG, 2-2 FT) and grabbed three rebounds for women's basketball in its 71-38 victory over the University of Bridgeport on Sunday. In addition to helping limit the Purple Knights to 20 percent shooting on the day, eight of her 10 points led a pair of massive runs that ballooned the Penmen lead from three to 26.
Male Athlete of the Week: Jojo Wallace - Men's Basketball - So., G
Jojo Wallace (Milford, Conn.)Â tallied 24.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game, while shooting 51.2 percent (22-43) from the field, during a 1-1 week for men's basketball. Wallace poured in a game-high 22Â points (9-23 FG, 2-7 3-FG), while adding eight rebounds and three steals, in a 78-71 loss at Saint Michael's College on Tuesday. He then dropped a career-high 27 points (13-20 FG), and recorded four rebounds, two assists and two steals in Sunday's 77-67 win at Post University.

Dani Gonzalez (Llanera, Spain) snapped a scoreless deadlock early in the second half, as men's soccer posted a 2-0 victory against the No. 1-ranked University of Charleston on Sunday to punch its ticket to the national quarterfinals.
Alvaro Garcia - Men's Soccer - Gr., GK
Alvaro Garcia (Castelldefels, Spain) stopped both shots he faced for his seventh clean sheet of the season.
Inigo Iriarte - Men's Soccer - Jr., B
Inigo Iriarte (Pamplona, Spain) had maybe the biggest play of the afternoon, knocking down a ball on the goal line that was headed for the back of the net to even the match in the 69th minute.
Jahshawne Joseph - Men's Basketball - R-Jr., F
Jahshawne Joseph (Malvern, Ont.) notched a double-double of a career-high 15 points (5-6 FG, 1-1 3-FG, 4-4 FT) and 11 boards in the Post victory.
Meghan Gordon - Women's Basketball - Sr., F
Meghan Gordon (Attleboro, Mass.)Â scored a game-high 15 points (7-12 FG, 1-2 3-FG), grabbed seven rebounds, dished three assists and blocked a pair of shots in women's basketball's 71-38 victory over the University of Bridgeport on Sunday.
Stone Devlin - Men's Ice Hockey - Jr., F
Stone Devlin (W. Falmouth, Mass.) scored both goals for men's ice hockey in its 3-2 loss against Westfield State University on Tuesday at O'Brien Rink in Woburn, Mass. This was the second time the two teams met in their "Hockey Fights Hunger" effort, with all food collected to benefit regional food assistance partners.
Sean Guerin - Men's Ice Hockey - Jr., G
Sean Guerin (Chicago, Ill.) made a season-high 46 saves – the second highest total of his career – in the loss.
