Graduate Student Katelyn Hadden (Newburyport, Mass.) scored a pair of goals, but the eighth-seeded Southern New Hampshire University women's lacrosse team suffered a 19-4 loss to ninth-ranked and top-seeded Pace University on Saturday afternoon at Northwell Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Freshman Sabrina Redding (Forked River, N.J.) scored the game's first goal 3:14 in to give Southern New Hampshire the early lead, but Pace scored two straight to grab a 2-1 edge with 9:42 to play in the opening quarter. Hadden tied it at 8:25, but the Setters ended the stanza with four straight to take the lead for good at 6-2.
- The score stayed that way until 8:23 into the second quarter when Hadden struck again, but the Setters would bring an 8-3 lead to the break.
- It was almost all Pace in the second half, scoring eight of the nine third-quarter goals to take a commanding 16-4 advantage.

- Freshman Corrina Moulton (Barre, Vt.) stopped nine of the 23 shots she faced over the opening 40:25, while sophomore Nicole Mirra (Cicero, N.Y.) made six saves on 11 shots in the final 19:35.
- Pace 'keeper Samantha Tanguay turned aside eight shots.
- Redding and sophomore Camdyn Swain (No. Falmouth, Mass.; ground ball, caused turnover) each scored a goal.
- Graduate standout Skylar Pietz (Dudley, Mass.) added an assist, three ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers.
- Senior Teagan McInnis (Bedford, N.H.) won three draw controls.
- Sophomore Natalie Bosselman (Falmouth, Mass.) caused a pair of turnovers.
- Pace outshot SNHU, 44-18, including 23-6 after halftime.
- The Setters held advantages in draw controls (17-8) and ground balls (15-11).
- SNHU went 19-for-24 on its clears, while Pace was 23-for-25.
- The Penmen were 1-for-3 on their free-position opportunities, while the Setters went 3-for-7.
- SNHU had 19 of the game's 27 turnovers.
NOTES
- Southern New Hampshire makes an appearance in the NE10 Championship for a fourth consecutive season, but is still in seach of its first NE10 postseason win since 2010.
- Pace leads the all-time series, 9-2, and has captured nine-in-a-row, including five straight at home. The last SNHU win came on the road March 19, 2016 (14-10).
- Hadden finishes her career with 162 goals, 103 assists and 262 points, including 108 goals, 75 assists and 183 points during her two years in a Penmen uniform. She is now seventh all-time in assists and 13th in points.
- Hadden's 94 points and 45 assists this season are second on SNHU's single-season list.
