The 10th-ranked Southern New Hampshire University field hockey team was blanked at home by Adelphi University, 2-0, in a Northeast 10 matchup on Saturday afternoon at Larkin Field.The Panthers struck in the opening six minutes and added a late insurance goal with 35 seconds remaining to seal the win. Despite generating nine shots and six on target, the Penmen were unable to solve Adelphi goalkeeper Allison Gregory, who made six saves for the shutout.

- Adelphi's Lana Mignon De Wet scored her ninth goal of the season just 5:51 into the contest, giving the Panthers an early lead they would not relinquish

- Gregory finished with six saves to earn her third win of the season while freshman Agustina Miranda Waigand (Miami, Fla.) made five saves, allowing one goal for SNHU
- Jody Van Aardt provided the insurance tally at 59:25, assisted by Jena Geels. With the Penmen playing with an extra attacker, the Panthers scored off a penalty corner
- Junior Zoe Demers (Manchester, N.H.) led the Penmen with three shots, all on target.
