NO. ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Southern New Hampshire University freshman Ross Wallace (Burlington, Mass.) continues to make his mark on the Northeast 10 cross country scene, earning his fourth NE10 Male Rookie of the Week award of the season on Tuesday.
Wallace finished second overall at last Thursday's Penmen Mini-Meet at the Hopkinton (N.H.) Fairgrounds, covering the 5-kilometer course in 15:39.7. He averaged 5:02.4 per mile and was the top freshman finisher in a field that included several Northeast 10 competitors.
The Burlington, Mass., native has been SNHU's top finisher in all four meets this season, establishing himself as one of the conference's standout newcomers.
The SNHU men's and women's cross country teams return to action Saturday, November 7, at the Northeast 10 Championships, held at the Bethpage Polo at the Park Course on Long Island, N.Y.
