KEY MOMENT

  • Second-quarter strikes from freshman Kailyn Cuddahy (Leominster, Mass.) and sophomore Sabrina Redding (Forked River, N.J.) kept the Penmen within 6-5 with 6:33 left in the opening half, but Bentley would score the final two to widen the gap to 8-5 at the break.
  • The Falcons also put the first two tallies of the second half on the board to make it 10-5, but SNHU rattled off three straight from Knowlton, Goulet and Cuddahy to slash its deficit to 10-8 at the end of three.
  • It was still a two-goal game at 11-9 with more than 13 minutes remaining, but Bentley scored the final five goals of the contest to put it away.
