Redshirt-freshman Piper Knowlton (Chester, N.H.) and senior Brynn Goulet (Tyngsboro, Mass.) each scored two goals and dished an assist, and Sophomore Corrina Moulton (Barre, Vt.) matched her career best with 17 saves, but the Southern New Hampshire University women's lacrosse team fell to 15th-ranked Pace University, 15-8, Tuesday afternoon at Northwell Stadium.
KEY MOMENT
- Southern New Hampshire jumped out to a 3-0 lead over the opening 6:23, as freshman Ella Lampron (Plaistow, N.H.), Goulet and freshman Abby Bouffard (Biddeford, Maine) all found the back of the net.
- Pace scored six straight, as part of a stretch where it scored 14 of the next 15 goals to open a commanding 14-4 lead at the end of the third quarter.
- SNHU again scored three straight to open the fourth quarter, with Knowlton striking twice and Bouffard adding a goal to pull within 14-7 with 3:34 remaining.

- Southern New Hampshire has now alternated wins and losses over its last eight games.

- Junior Natalie Bosselman (Falmouth, Mass.) tallied a goal and an assist.

- Pace leads the all-time series, 10-2, as it has now won 10-in-a-row over the Penmen. The Setters have also captured six straight at home in the series. The last SNHU victory came in a 14-10 road win March 19, 2016.
