Creveuil Captures NE10 Player of the Week Honors

Sophomore went 2-0 in season-opening win for men's tennis

NO. ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Sophomore Aurel Creveuil (Nanterre, France) of the Southern New Hampshire University men's tennis team was named the NE10 Player of the Week for the period ending Sept. 13, the league office announced Tuesday.

Creveuil went 2-0 in SNHU's 5-2 win at Saint Michael's College on Sunday – the first dual match of the year for the Penmen. Creveuil pulled out a three-set win, tallying a 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 victory against Viktor Boban at No. 2 and also teamed with freshman Alexandre Guilcher (Cadaujac, France) to edge Jamie Macpherson and Ferm Koppelmans, 6-4, at No. 3 doubles.

Creveuil and the Penmen return to action Wednesday, Sept. 23 (2:30 p.m.) when they take on Franklin Pierce University.
