Charlie Fletcher enters his first season on the Southern New Hampshire University staff in 2024 as the team's pitching coach.
Most recently, Fletcher served as the pitching coach at Randolph-Macon College, helping lead the Yellow Jackets to the program's second Div. III World Series appearance. The pitching staff registered a team ERA of 4.44, 431 strikeouts, 15 Saves, and a .266 opponent batting average, all ranked first in the ODAC. The staff's performance was crucial in the team's success leading to a 2024 ODAC Regular Season Championship, and RMC's first-ever Super Regional Championship.

Before Randolph-Macon, Fletcher served as the pitching coach at Merrimack College during the 2022 and 2023 seasons after joining the staff in January of 2022. Throughout those two seasons, Merrimack's pitching staff saw improvements in ERA, K-BB%, WHIP, and Opp. Batting Avg.Â

During 2021, Fletcher was a video scout with Sports Info Solutions. Responsibilities in this role included scoring and validating MLB and MiLB games, analyzing statistical data, and assisting in producing the Bill James Handbook.Â

Fletcher graduated from the College of William and Mary in 2018. In addition to shattering the program’s all-time appearances record, pitching 105 times in his career, he was a member of the 2016 CAA Championship team and appeared in the NCAA Regional Finals. Following graduation, Fletcher pitched for both the Garden City Wind and the White Sands Pupfish of the Pecos League.Â
