Biography

2015:
 - Made 10 appearances on the season, recording a 2.14 ERA and 1-1 record.
 - Struck out 28 in 21 innings and held batters to a .193 batting average.
 - Recorded a season-high seven strikeouts in six innings in his lone start, a no-decision in a 6-5 win over Bentley (4/26).
 - Notched two strikeouts in an inning of work in SNHU’s NCAA win over St. Thomas Aquinas (5/15).

2014 (Game-by-Game)
 - Made a pair of starts before being sidelined due to injury, missing the remainder of the season.
 - Posted a 1.59 ERA and struck out five in 5.2 innings of work.
 - Tossed 4.2 scoreless innings in his 2014 debut against Bridgeport (2/23).
 - Went an inning against Post (3/7) before being sidelined.

2013: Appeared in eight games for the Penmen… started in two of those games… pitched a total of nineteen innings… registering 16 strikeouts throughout the season...contributed to the SNHU 6-2 victory over Mercy (4/26) with a season-high four strikeouts.

BEFORE SNHU/PERSONAL: 2012 graduate of Metuchen HS…played baseball and basketball for the Bulldogs…posted a 0.47 ERA with 75 strikeouts in 60 innings pitched while holding opponents to a .129 batting average…County Pitcher of the Year and a Third Team All-State selection…National Honor Society member…named the school’s Outstanding Student-Athlete…son of Ray and Ila Fortuna…Three-year Honors Business major…member of the SNHU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
