Elly Chipman

Elly Chipman, joined the Southern New Hampshire University field hockey coaching staff in the fall of 2016. Chipman was an NCAA Division I student-athlete for three years, spending two years at Liberty University before concluding her career at James Madison University.

Chipman appeared in 22 games for the nationally-ranked Flames as an attacking center midfielder and a defender. She saw action in 19 games as a freshman, including 11 starts, before playing in the first three games of her sophomore year. Chipman tallied three career goals at Liberty before injuries shortened her sophomore season. After one game in the fall of 2015 for the No. 19-ranked Dukes, her career came to a close due to injury. While at Liberty, Chipman was named to the NFHCA National Academic squad as well as the Dean's List.

Prior to playing at the collegiate level Chipman was a three-time selection to the USA National Futures Championship, earned a pair of gold medals at the Virginia Commonwealth Games and took gold at both the National Field Hockey Festival and the National Indoor Tournament.

Chipman is a USA Field Hockey level one certified coach and will be graduating online from James Madison in the spring of 2017 with a degree in Individualized Studies.
