Zach Lubinski

Zach Lubinski enters his first season as Assistant Coach for the Penmen in 2022-23.

Lubinski coached at The Groton School during the 2021-2022 season where he worked with both the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. Prior to Groton, he was an assistant coach for the New England Stars of the NA3HL for 3 seasons (2017-2020) and Assistant Coach for the New England Wolves of the EHL for 2 seasons (2015-2017). Coach Lubinski has been teaching skills and player development for youth through professional athletes under programs such as Premier Hockey, Pro-Hockey Development, and The Hockey Academy for 12+ years. 

Prior to Coaching, Lubinski was a 4-year member of the Penmen Ice Hockey team from 2010-2014. During 2013-2014, the team captured the first NE-10 Hockey Championship in program history, finishing the year with a 17-8-1 record and .673 win %. Prior to SNHU, Lubinski was a member of the New England Stars Super Elite Team in the International Junior Hockey League (IJHL) where he won an IJHL Championship and was named one of the league's all-star athletes. 

A Hudson, NH Native, Lubinski graduated from Southern New Hampshire University in 2014 with a degree in graphic and web design. Outside of coaching the Penmen, he is the Operations Coordinator for The Hockey Academy where he oversees the Waterville Valley Hockey Tournaments, several of New England's adult hockey leagues, and the administrative duties of the New England Stars and Maine Wild Youth Hockey Programs.
