2012: Started all 52 games in which he has appeared...led team in batting (.319), runs scored (49) and doubles (19)...split time between catcher and designated hitter...Northeast-10 Second Team All-Conference...Capital One Third Team Academic All-America as well as All-District team selection…Northeast-10 All-Academic Team...team co-captain...led team with 19 multi-hit games...went 4-6 with three runs batted in in a win over nationally-ranked Nova Southeastern (3/6)...had two hits in a win over nationally-ranked Lynn (3/7)...belted a three-run home run in a win over Wilmington (Del.) (3/8)...had a team-best 12-game hit streak from 3/24-4/14, batting .462 over that span...went 5-8 with four runs scored in a doubleheader sweep of Assumption (3/25)...went 4-5 at Franklin Pierce (4/3)...named MVP of the East Regional after batting .375 and hitting safely in all five games...went 2-3 with two doubles and an RBI in the regional final against Le Moyne (5/20)…hit safely in each of SNHU’s eight NCAA games…went 2-4 with two runs scored in a loss to eventual national champion West Chester (5/28).

2010: Appeared in 41 games and was in the starting lineup 40 times…batted .256 with 18 RBI, tying for the team lead in runs driven in…was 2-4 with a double and a triple and two runs scored against Molloy (3/6)…drove in three runs in a win over Saint Michael’s (3/20)…went 2-4 with a double and an RBI in a win at UMass Lowell (3/28)…collected a pair of hits at Stonehill (4/5)…went 3-6 in a doubleheader against Saint Rose (4/18)…hit safely in six straight games from 4/24-5/1…was 4-6 in a doubleheader against Adelphi (4/24)…drove in two runs at Bentley (4/30).

BEFORE SNHU/PERSONAL:  2008 graduate of Bristol Eastern HS where he played soccer, basketball, and baseball...played baseball for the Lancers under coach Mike Giovannazo...batted .380 with five doubles, four triples, and three home runs while driving in 20 runs during his senior year...captained the team during his senior year...helped the Lancers to three conference championships...attended University of Massachusetts - Amherst during his freshman year of college...son of James and Susan Spatkowski...brother Chris plays baseball at Pace University...Sport Management major.
