Before arriving at SNHU, Coache spent a decade as a high school tennis coach, where he consistently led his teams to success. He guided his teams to the playoffs in nine of those ten years, highlighted by a state championship and five state semifinal appearances. His achievements earned him the distinction of New Hampshire’s Coach of the Year during the championship season.

In addition to his coaching career, Coache has extensive experience as a player. In 1992, he earned the No. 1 doubles ranking in New England. He continues to compete in USTA team tennis, where his teams have made ten appearances at the regional championships and qualified for the national tournament twice, with trips to Hawaii and Palm Springs.
