2016 Women's Cross Country
Biography
2016:
- Competed in each of Southern New Hampshire's six meets
- Opened the season with a mark of 23:01 at the NE10 Preview Meet
- Clocked her fastest time of the season at the Bruce Kirsh Cup in 22:25
- Turned in a time of 27:09 at the Northeast-10 Championship, which put her at No. 115 overall
- Closed the season with a 27:24 performance at the NCAA East Regional
BEFORE SNHU/PERSONAL:
- Sport Management major
- 2016 graduate of Nashua South High School
- Competed for the Panthers’ cross country and track and field programs
- Captained both the indoor and outdoor track teams while also earning Most Valuable Player honors in both seasons
- State Champion in the 55-meter hurdles
- All-State Selection in outdoor track
- Member of the Nashua South outdoor track team that finished as the New Hampshire State Runner-up
- Daughter of Tom and Tammie Murphy
- Has one brother named Colin and one sister named Bridget
- Lists the New England Patriots as her favorite sports team
